Sluggers snitch 2nd straight softball tourney
Bukandala ES Sluggers remained unbeatable in advance City Meet softball after pocketing the 2018 title at the expense of the Gov. DM Camerino Softbelles.
BESian Sluggers wipe out Gov. DM Softbelles, 24-17 in the 4th innings in a Game 2 at the Pedro Reyes Stadium on Thursday, October 11, for their 5th straight title.
Team Captain Venice Cuaton displayed her prowess on the mound delivering strikeouts against the struggling Camerian softbelles, who failed to find their groove offensively.
Pitcher Diana Magbagay showed sharpness and perseverance in throwing the ball quickly so that thebattlers in the opponent side will strike out in the play.
“Ipagpatuloy niyo lang ang ginagawa niyo huwag kayong kampanti kasi hindi niyo alam ang strategy ng kalaban” said coach Daribe Nagtalon.
Gov. DM softbelles lacked on home run in the game because of BES Sluggers skills in throwing a fast ball on the battlers, they are always strike out on the game.
Sluggers nipped softbelles in Game 1 last October 9, 20-13 because of the skills in throwing and catching the ball.
Bukandala Sluggers will advance in the Provincial Meet this coming December.
